Hello! My name is Mrs. Lauran Godfrey. I am very excited about being your child's teacher! This year is going to be filled with new learning, exploration, discovery, fun, and creativity.

      I was raised in Winchester and graduated from Franklin County High School. I graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I currently live in South Pittsburg, TN with my husband Chad and our daughter, Lella. 

This will be my tenth year teaching. I taught second grade for 1 year prior to SES, fifth grade Math/Science at Sewanee Elementary for 3 years, and I have taught second grade for the past 5 years at SES. I am very excited to be teaching second grade again and am looking forward to working with all of you and your wonderful children.
