Teresa Miller

My name is Teresa Miller, and I am excited to be joining the Sewanee Elementary School community. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education. This will be my 18th year as a classroom teacher. I am married to my college sweetheart Dan, and while we aren’t new to Tennessee, we are new to mountain living. We have raised two children who are now married, and we have two adorable grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with our growing family, traveling, reading, and snuggling with my dog. 

My goal this year is to provide a classroom environment in which students take ownership of their learning by being engaged and productive. I want them to look forward to each day and what they can accomplish.
