I graduated from the University of the South in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  During my time as a student, I worked with many local elementary students through a tutoring program. This is where my love for teaching began.  I decided to act on that interest and further my education. In 2006, I received a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Belmont University. In 2014, I completed my Education Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction from MTSU.  This will be my seventeenth year at Sewanee Elementary!

I live in Winchester, TN with my wonderful family.  I have two girls, Mollye and Mia, who keep me busy! I enjoy spending time with my family as well as hiking, running, vacationing, and reading a good book.
