B.S. Biology - Univeristy of the South

Masters of Education- Belmont University

Education Specialist- Middle Tennessee State University

I graduated from Franklin County High School in 2001. From there I decided to attend The University of the South where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After Sewanee, I furthered my education at Belmont University. I graduated in 2006 with a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education. In 2014, I completed my Ed.S from MTSU in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught fourth grade in both Williamson and Rutherford County before having the opportunity to come back home and teach in Franklin County. This will be my thirteenth year at Sewanee Elementary! I taught 2nd grade for nine years, prek for three, and now I'm excited to be teaching science and math in 4th!

I live in Winchester and I am married to Adam Casey. We have two precious girls-Mollye and Mia, and one sweet angel- Mallory. I enjoy spending time with my family as well hiking, running, vacationing, and reading a good book.
