On Tuesday, April 23, Sewanee Elementary students, faculty, and staff had the unique opportunity to meet with an author and musical entertainer during a special assembly.

Ketch Secor, founder and leader of the Country/Americana musical act Old Crow Medicine Show, shared his first children's book, Lorraine: The Girl Who Sang the Storm Away.

Thank you, Mr. Secor, for sharing your time with us. It was a wonderful treat!

Signed copies of his book are available at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore on the campus of Sewanee: The University of the South.
