Red Ribbon Week October 22-26

On Monday, October 22, a red ribbon will be placed on the front door/mailbox of the school in observance of Red Ribbon Week and red ribbons with the slogan “Life is your journey.  Travel drug free” will be distributed to students and teachers (students should wear their ribbon all week). Students are asked to wear RED on this day.

On Tuesday, October 23, students are asked to wear their favorite team shirt to “Team-Up Against Drugs.”

On Wednesday, October 24, students are asked to wear silly socks to “Sock it to Drugs.”

On Thursday, October 25, students are asked to wear a hat to “Put a Cap on Drugs.”

On Friday, October 26, students are asked to wear school colors to show spirit and that “Sewanee Elementary Students Say No to Drugs.”

On Tuesday, October 30, Officer Davidson, from the Franklin County Police Department, will give a grade appropriate drug awareness presentation to Pre-K-4th grade and introduce the students to his K-9 companion.
